What Does The Friends Foundation Do?
The Huntley Area Public Library District Friends Foundation is a charitable not-for-profit organization made up of volunteers who are proud of our excellent library and are dedicated to helping the library serve as a cultural and educational resource to the community. 501(c)3 status is pending.
The Friends Foundation purpose is to promote, aid and support the library by providing support for library programs. The group also supports the availability of literature and literature related resources throughout the library district. The Friends provide this support through volunteering for library and Friends programs and by raising funds through membership dues, book sale revenues, and other fundraising events.
To find out more about the Friends Foundation, contact Pamela Kampwerth at the Library at (847) 669-5386, ext. 28.
The Friends Foundation mission is to raise funds to support and promote the Huntley Library. As library ambassadors, our vision is to increase awareness of the Friends Foundation throughout the community and to continue to raise funds to support the library.
The Friends Foundation accepts donations from the public and private sector. The Friends encourage contributions supporting the library's need for a bigger and better library. Gifts are always appreciated. Find out more.
