Think Outside the Box - Friends Foundation Fundraiser

The HAPL Friends Foundation's 2nd Annual Art Exhibit and Fundraiser is underway at the Huntley Area Public Library. Local artists have been hard at work creating 20 uniquely decorated wooden boxes for this February fundraiser.

Patrons will be able to view the artistically decorated boxes at the Huntley Area Public Library from February 1st through the 29th and bid in a silent auction throughout the month.

These boxes would make a beautiful, handcrafted gift for any library lover or a one of a kind addition to your home’s décor!

February is Library Lovers' Month -- I'd Like to be a Library Lover

Friends are true Library Lovers!

Make an on-line donation today by completing the form at the end of this article.

In 2011 the Friends Foundation donated $37,400 to the library, funding all reading and library programming, ebooks, eAudiobooks, and eReader purchases, online resources HelpNow and JobNow, AV shelving, and more!

This February, the Friends are raising money to support library reading programs! This includes both summer and winter - youth through adult.
